Tex-Mex Inspired: Easy Home Cheesemaking featuring Chipotle Lime String Cheese
July 19 @ 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm$75
*****Postponed! This class will run in October, date TBA soon!*****
Known as Oaxaca, this grate-able string cheese is a staple of tex-mex cuisine. Although a little more advanced than some of our cheeses, this can still be made and eaten on the same day. We are going to feature it in designer tacos and the famous Mimi’s Cafe taco salad that made us the top food booth at Summerfolk our second year there! We’ll top it all off with a tasty tex-mex inspired dessert ( hint: think the homeland of chocolate!)! Co-taught with the wonderful Mimi (formerly of Mimi’s Cafe) and with the delightful support of Julie (Stonegrove Farm and Wellness Studio).
$75 includes all materials and your meal, with the exception of wine with dinner if you choose to bring some along.
*All classes are running depending on current regulations. If a class has to be cancelled or postponed for these reasons, you can move your registration to another/later class or ask for a full refund. If you cancel for reasons of your own less than 3 days before class, significant expenses have already been incurred, but we will still happily give you a $50 credit towards another class AND send you the recipe/instruction booklet for the class you had to miss.
*Since the restrictions on gathering size this summer are not yet known, and in order to increase distance in class, I’m temporarily limiting registration to 6.
