Plant Medicine Making 101: Spring

May 13 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

$135.00
This spring version of the Medicine Making 101 Full Day Workshop will help you stock your medicine and first aid cabinet with versatile, safe and multi application remedies.

As always, we will cover herbal medicine safety and appropriate use. You will learn how to make an infused oil, and how to turn that into an ointment or salve. This time it will be a birch and balsam bud salve to use topically for pain relief, general fist aid and a variety of skin conditions.

We will make a chamomile tincture and review the surprisingly varied and effective uses of this gentle but powerful plant.

We will learn how to make infused vinegars, and you will take home a “4 Thieves” vinegar that can be used to help ward off spring colds and is fantastically delicious in the kitchen too!

Lastly we will blend a mood booster tea to gently raise the spirits while we wait for the full return of warm weather! $135/person includes all materials and supplies (except alcohol for tincture). Please bring a bagged lunch.

Early registration recommended! This class sold out last time it ran!
